Are you a swashbuckling sea dog who has always been curious about the ways of landlubbers? Join Jim Ladd and the piratically notorious Jolley-Rogers family as they navigate the weird world of the shore.
Did you know that landlubbers wear shoes at all times because they never climb rigging? That they don’t sleep in hammocks and that the ships they live in don’t move?
Are you stepping ashore for a holiday? Or just looking to keep a low profile while you find a place to bury your treasure? This is any pirate’s ultimate survival guide to life on land.

Follow the dark, dark path
Into the dark, dark woods
To the dark, dark bridge
By the dark, dark water.
Linger. Let the ghosts of heaven tell their story.
World Book Day is a celebration! It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.
This is the 18th year there’s been a World Book Day, and on 5th March 2015 children of all ages will come together to appreciate reading.
